Scrapbooking Wednesday

Hi All today is my Te Awamutu Class day for Scrapbooking. 

The ladies are going to be completing the following two pages.  Hope they like them...

 

I just love how bright and clean this page looks.  Isn't my niece stunning!!!

I have kept to three main colours on the page - Real Red, Pool Party and Baked Brown Sugar.  I found that these colours matched beautifully with the Fresh Prints  DSP Paper Stack from the Occasions Catalogue and the Quatrefancy Specialty DSP.  Along with the stamp sets Flower Shop & Thoughts & Prayers, which just set off the pictures wonderfully.

 

The Next Page is of my son a number of years ago, he loves playing on the beach so I decided to put a beach theme to this page.  Using Midnight Muse & Marina Mist 12 x 12 & Tangerine Tango card stock matching it up with Highlights of DSP from Retro Fresh & Etcetera Collections.  Its a simple page to create but in my eyes very effective.

 

 

SWAPS - Stampin Up Retreat Rotorua

Over the weekend at the Retreat I participated in a swap with 17 other Demonstrators, it was lots of fun creating my Swap which you can see below, as well as receiving 17 completely different swaps.

My Swap above is a magnetic clipboard and pen to attach to your fridge. I used the NEW Fresh Prints Paper Stack from the Occasions Catalogue on the front of the board and around the pen.  The Burlap flower is in the middle of a Real Red flower created using the Pansy Punch.

The next two photos are of the amazing collection of swaps that I received.  These ladies are so talented, I can't wait till the next one.

Stampin Up Retreat - Rotorua

Well I'm back what an awesome weekend we have just had in Rotorua.  Approx 36 Demonstrators all got together for a fun filled action packed weekend.  We made a lot of new items using products from the NEW Occasions Catalogue.  So are you ready???

AW11 - Colour Challenge

Sometimes its great to have an excuse to enter my crafting domain.
  This week it is to join in on the Around the World Colour Challenge .
This weeks challenge was to create something using the following colours:

 

 

So of course I had fun creating this very cute box using the New Scallop Tag Punch.  Once I got started I could not stop.  This photo shows the front of the box and the next photo is the back.

Flower Shop

 

Ive been in the craft room very little this week as I have been having power issues.  I love to create in front of the TV, so with no power life is boring.

I did however get in there yesterday and create this card.  The template came from Pinterest for the cut out in front, but the rest is my design.

Sneak Peak - Stamp Camp Swap

Pleasant Poppies

I just love this background stamp, I have not used it a lot lately but when I found this card
template I decided it was the right stamp to use.  As you can see I have followed through
with the image on the envelope and also on the inside of the card.  I tried this card with two different
colours as you can see.  Let me know what one you like...

I have not had a chance to get into my craft room today as I have been outside helping my kids build a tree hut, along with the help of the Grandparents.  Did you see there is no mention of Dad thats because he is busy on the farm and really does not have a clue about building a tree house.
