Make n Take - Masculine Card

Equipment List:

Crumb Cake Cardstock – 10.5cm x 29.5cm Score at 14.9cm

Soft Suede or Real Red Cardstock – 10cm x 14.4cm
Crumb Cake & Early Espresso/Island Indigo Cardstock – 5cm x 10cm (Two Tags)*
Not Quite Navy/Daffodil Delight Cardstock – 4cm x 9.5cm**
Whisper White – 3.5cm x 8cm
Linen Thread – 104199
Basic Grey Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon – 126879
Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon – 126872
Early Espresso Emboss Powder – 128980
Versamark – 102283

      1.       Fold Crumb Cake Cardstock along Score line.

2.      Using Big Shot/Textured Embossing Machine and the Stripes Embossing Folder, Emboss Soft Suede/Real Red Cardstock.

3.      Tape/Glue the embossed cards onto the front of the folded Crumb Cake Cardstock.

4.      Punch one end of both *5cm x 10cm pieces of card using the Tag Top Punch.

5.      Using Heat Tool, Versamark, Hardwood Stamp and Early Espresso Embossing Powder. Emboss Crumb Cake Tag.

a.       Rub Embossing Buddy all over the cardstock

b.      Stamp Hardwood Stamp onto the Versamark Ink and then stamp firmly onto Tag.

c.       Sprinkle Early Espresso Embossing Powder all over the stamped image. (Tap lightly to remove any excess powder)

d.      Heat Powder with Heat Tool until image appears glossy.

6.      Using Chevron Punch and off cuts of cardstock supplied punch out Chevrons.

7.      Glue Chevrons onto the **4cm x 9.5cm cardstock as per picture above.

8.      Tape Not Quite Navy/Daffodil Delight strip onto Right Hand Side of Crumb Cake Tag.

9.      Attach Ribbon to both Tags

10.   Choose a sayings image and Stampin Write Markers of your choice and stamp onto the Whisper White Cardstock. Cut arrows into the bottom of this piece of cardstock.

11.    If using the bright colour pack please sand Island Indigo tag at this point.

12.   Wrap and tie Linen Thread around the base of the Whisper White and attach to Early Espresso/Island Indigo Tag over the top as per image using Dimensional’s.

13.   Decorate the Inside of the Card and Front of the Envelope using leftover chevrons etc.
