Easter Part 3
Hi all, hope you are enjoying Good Friday, the kids are home now for two weeks so expect lots of posts from both myself and the children. They are both very excited about the Easter Bunny coming on Sunday Morning. But that is only going to happen if they are good.
Here is Part 3 of my Easter Projects, this is an Easter Scrapbooking page that I also put together for the Team Training Day in Gordonton Hamilton. This is the same layout that my ladies completed a fortnight ago, but this time I used a different DSP paper but from the same pack of Watercolour Wonder, I felt this paper really looked like a field of bright coloured Easter Eggs. Teamed up with some very cute photos of my kids at Easter a number of years ago, Im very happy with how it is turned out. Have a go at this layout and let me know how they turned out.

Easter - Part 2
As promised here are some more Easter Creations. This time I had to replicate a tried an true design which is the Brown Easter Box, this design has been around for years and years. So I can't give credit to the designer as it was such a long time ago. As you can see the main base for the Rabbit is our Top Note Die and of course a few of our Stampin Up Punch's.
I have to say I must have naughty children as I have just noticed that the Easter Eggs have disappeared from inside the Baskets. Oh well its EASTER....
The second box is a lovely Easter Bag made with DSP and my Simply Scored Board and some trusty punch's. The little Carrot was made using my Undefined Stamp Kit, I absolutely love having the flexibility of making my own stamps. You must all have a go.
I will later today post the instructions for those that wish to replicate this design.

Easter as my daughter keeps telling me is now only 4 sleeps away. Oh my gosh it has come round fast this year. So I thought I had better get into gear and share a few of my Easter Creations Old and New.

Wednesday Wow - Card Class
Card class has rolled round for yet another month, boy does time fly. This month my wonderful ladies requested to make 'Baby Cards' and 'Wedding Cards'.
This worked perfectly for me as my Brother and Sister in Law have just welcomed a gorgeous baby boy to the family. My kids are over the moon as they only had girl cousins for such a long time. He was however 5 weeks prem but is fit and well, I can't wait to hold him.
So back to the cards, the first card was the lovely Owl card above which the ladies had a choice of Soft Sky or Blushing Bride. It was great to bring the Owl punch out of hibernation and doesn't he look so cute.
Following the Baby Theme, I found this beautiful diaper card on Pinterest and just had to replicate it using Stampin Up products, isn't it lovely. Im also going to have a go at making smaller ones for my next Scrapbooking Class so watch this space.
And last but not least my all time favourite, a 'Wedding Card'. We all had to have very clean hands for this one, as you can see it is all made using Whisper White Cardstock and the Big Shot. Im so pleased with how clean and crisp it looks.

Make n Take - Masculine Card

Crumb Cake Cardstock – 10.5cm x 29.5cm Score at
14.9cm
Soft Suede or Real Red Cardstock – 10cm x 14.4cmCrumb Cake & Early Espresso/Island Indigo Cardstock – 5cm x 10cm (Two Tags)*
Not Quite Navy/Daffodil Delight Cardstock – 4cm x 9.5cm**
Whisper White – 3.5cm x 8cmLinen Thread – 104199
Basic Grey Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon – 126879
Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon – 126872
Early Espresso Emboss Powder – 128980
Versamark – 102283
Embossing Buddy – 103083
Heat Tool - 129056
Big Shot – 113439
Scissors - 103579
Sticky Strip – 104294
2-Way Glue Pen – 100425
Whisper White Envelopes - 106588
1. Fold Crumb Cake Cardstock along Score line.
2. Using Big Shot/Textured Embossing Machine and the
Stripes Embossing Folder, Emboss Soft Suede/Real Red Cardstock.
3. Tape/Glue the embossed cards onto the front of the
folded Crumb Cake Cardstock.
4. Punch one end of both *5cm x 10cm pieces of card
using the Tag Top Punch.
5. Using Heat Tool, Versamark, Hardwood Stamp and
Early Espresso Embossing Powder. Emboss Crumb Cake Tag.
a.
Rub Embossing Buddy
all over the cardstock
b.
Stamp Hardwood Stamp
onto the Versamark Ink and then stamp firmly onto Tag.
c.
Sprinkle Early
Espresso Embossing Powder all over the stamped image. (Tap lightly to remove
any excess powder)
d.
Heat Powder with
Heat Tool until image appears glossy.
6. Using Chevron Punch and off cuts of cardstock
supplied punch out Chevrons.
7. Glue Chevrons onto the **4cm x 9.5cm cardstock as
per picture above.
8. Tape Not Quite Navy/Daffodil Delight strip onto
Right Hand Side of Crumb Cake Tag.
9. Attach Ribbon to both Tags
10. Choose a sayings image and Stampin Write Markers of
your choice and stamp onto the Whisper White Cardstock. Cut arrows into the
bottom of this piece of cardstock.
11. If using the bright colour pack please sand Island
Indigo tag at this point.
12. Wrap and tie Linen Thread around the base of the
Whisper White and attach to Early Espresso/Island Indigo Tag over the top as
per image using Dimensional’s.
13. Decorate the Inside of the Card and Front of the
Envelope using leftover chevrons etc.

Masculine Card
Well what a busy week I have had. This Sunday we are having a Demonstrator based Training in Hamilton and silly me offered to do the Make and Take!!! Which means 50 kits that I have had to put together.
I have to be honest and say I JUST LOVE teaching projects so I really was not that silly. So off I went to my Little Craft room and this is what I came up with. So often we tend to neglect making Masculine Cards, So I decided that was what I wanted to do. I choose two stamp sets and thought I would create two Identical cards but by choosing different colour options I came up with cards for all age groups.
