FOREVER YOUNG #2

I absolutely love creating new cards with NEW stamp sets.  Its like the worlds my oyster...
The main image used in this card is yet another one out of the New Set 'Forever Young'.  Again I have used my Versamaek and Black embossing powder to really bring to life the image(it also helps to keep the stamp clean instead of using black ink)
I have also had fun with the Scallop Circle Die on the Big Shot.  This card was very quick and easy to make.  The new In Colours used have added a fun bright summery feel to the card.  Hope you enjoy replicating this card.

FOREVER YOUNG

Its Sneak Peak time....
Hope you have all got your hands on one of our New Idea Book & Catalogue's.  What do you think??
I just love it.  There are so many new ideas and new products to browse over.  I must have been through the book 100 times all ready.

One of the new sets is 'Forever Young' (I wish we were).  This set has many different possibilites.  For this card I have chosen an Antique feel/theme.  I wanted my card to look like a picture portrait.  So I made the front of the card stick out while the silouette of the the girl is set in the background.  Hope that makes sense.  The Beautiful matching Desiner Series Paper just finishes the look I was after.

Cased Scrapbook Layout

This scrapbook page was cased from the very alented Patrice Halliday-Larsen. A couple of months back attended one of Patrice's class's and had a huge amount of fun adapting her layout to achieve the above.  It was a challenge for me as normally I only create cards.  So I did surprise myself and now guess what I am hooked on scrapbooking.  Isn't it funny how our talents keep changing.

Items Used:
Stamp Set - Fifth Avenue Floral
Cardstock - Crumb Cake 12 x 12, Marina Mist & Pacific Point
DSP - Blueberry Crisp
Ink - Marina Mist & Pacific Point

Motorbike No2

Morning Peeps...
For some very weird reason Im up and at em this morning.  The above card is what I have just finished teaching to my class's in Pirongia.  The Ladies ust loved it, the colours are bright and I was able to teach a new technique/idea.  At our local Regional Training in Hamilton the Lovely Emma showed us how to recycle an aluminium can.  Once the can is open we were shown how the BigShot can cut and Emboss the tin.

This photo shows you a close up of the tin embossed and put behind the motobike image.  I used the Lattice Embossing Folder to create the pattern on the tin and then i cut the tin to the size that I required.  Isn't this just a neat effect.  I am 100% sure that I will be using products such as tin on many more of my fantastic creations.

See you soon

Its Motorbike Time

This Stamp was an absolute must for me when I saw it in our New Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue.  So far I have created 4 different cards using the Motobike as my main focus.  In this card I have embossed the Motobike twice and then cut the cardstock in half then I have matched the two pieces up together like a jigsaw to get the above effect. I have also cut out one black and one white topnote from the bigshot and cut them in half and embossed using the lattice embossing folder on one half of each colour.  The Jumbo Eyelets and the Striped Grossgrain Ribbon have just tied the whole card together nicely don't you think???
Stay tuned to see some more of my Masculine Motorbike Cards
Catch you later

NB:  The Lattice Embossing Folder has been carried over from the Summer Mini and will continue to be avaliable to purchase.

Good Afternoon All
I know its been a few days sincce I last blogged but I have had class's this week and have also been really busy making wedding invites for my friends brothers wedding.
So what do you think??  The cards above are the two that we made in class earlier this week. My theme for the month was 'go masculine' and I feel I achieved it.  I wanted two cards that could be given to most age groups as well as be adapted into female cards just be changing the colours.

The Not quite Navy card was cased from the very talented Artistic Avenger,  all i changed was the colours as I loved her card so much.  The other card was something that I came up with after hours of playing.

Scarecrow Punch Art

Now isnt he just the cutest.....  I have to say a huge big thank you to Kim Score from Paper Punch Addiction who I puchased the tutorial of the scarecrow from.  Kim is a very talented lady. I have changed my scarecrow a bit as I don't have all the same punch's as what she has used and I have put him on a card instead of a box.

I have been creating again lately the next card is one that was made by accident.  I was playing around with my circle circus stamp set on a scrap piece of cardstock and this is what I ended up with.

The colours used in this card are Early Espresso and  Rich Razzelberry on Very Vanilla Cardstock.  I have played around with my Itty Bitty Punchs and created a little accent down the bottom.  This is a quick and easy card that could be used for any occasion.

Keep Posted as i have a number of new cards to add on her over the next couple of days.
